07.01.2010Filter AS has acquired two Russian companies: ZAO HyXo in Moscow and ZAO Vapor in Saint Petersburg.
ZAO HyXo was established in 1996. Hyxo is specialized in complete water treatment solutions and equipment. At the moment there are 7 employees and the aim is to provide complex services from project to after sale service in the future, following Filter's model. ZAO HyXo is the official representative of Eurowater in Russia.
ZAO Vapor is a leading boiler house and CHP project company in Russia. There are 13 employees in Saint Petersburg office at the moment. Company was established in 2005 in Saint Petersburg. Former ZAO Vapor's holding company Vapor Oy has the knowledge of importing boilers to the former Soviet Union from 60's. ZAO Vapor is the official distributor of GE Jenbacher in North-West region of Russia.
With the transaction Filter Group wishes to expand their business to Russia and further enhance export capabilities.
